Synopsis:
"Showdown!" With the X-Men all prisoners in his Antarctic base, Magneto renews his acts of terror on the human world! With the X-Men out of the picture, Magneto begins his attack on mankind in earnest — unaware that Storm has found a way to free the team. What greets him on his return home is an organized fighting force led by Cyclops through Jean’s telepathic coordination. In the final clash, a volcano collapses, leaving Magneto and Jean with Beast barely escaping. Exhausted, Jean passes out, and Beast struggles to carry her through the snow before collapsing himself. Flashbacks reveal Storm’s Cairo childhood, learning to escape and steal under Achmed El-Gibar’s guidance.
