Returning from the Savage Land, Peter Parker is quickly caught between social unrest led by Randy Robertson and another Spider-Slayer attack, this time engineered by Spencer Smythe. While Jameson believes he’s in control of the robot, Smythe uses it to steal a surveillance-inhibiting device for his own criminal plans. Meanwhile, Harry Osborn returns home after a drug overdose, and tension among Peter, MJ, Gwen, and Flash brews at a house party. In the end, Smythe uses the stolen tech to discover Spider-Man’s true identity—Peter Parker.
