Synopsis:
In 'The Coming of... Sub-Mariner!', Johnny Storm, feeling unappreciated by his teammates, leaves the Fantastic Four temporarily. While staying at a homeless shelter, he encounters an amnesiac man who resembles Namor, the Sub-Mariner. Recognizing him from history books, Johnny uses his flame to burn off the man's beard, revealing Namor's true identity. Upon regaining his memory, Namor returns to the sea, discovers the ruins of his Atlantean kingdom, and vows revenge on the surface world. He summons a massive sea creature to attack New York City. The Fantastic Four reunite to confront the threat, with the Human Torch creating a tornado to carry the creature back to the ocean, thwarting Namor's plans.
