Synopsis:
When the X-Men arrive in Japan, they find Agarashima ablaze from a great firestorm caused by an unnatural earthquake. The team had been rescued by a Japanese ship after leaving the Savage Land and now joins Sunfire to battle Moses Magnum, who threatens to sink Japan with his powers. Misty Knight and Colleen Wing are also in Japan aiding the effort. The X-Men defeat Magnum's Mandroids, but the danger looms. Meanwhile, in space, Professor Xavier accompanies Lilandra to claim her throne as empress. In this issue, Wolverine meets Mariko Yashida for the first time and instantly falls in love, revealing he can speak Japanese.
