Synopsis:
The Avengers thwart a Maggia operation, drawing the attention of the mysterious Count Nefaria, who secretly leads the criminal organization. Inviting the Avengers to his castle under false pretenses, Nefaria drugs them and creates duplicates of the heroes to frame them for declaring war on the U.S. Once released, the Avengers face military attacks but quickly unravel the scheme. They confront Nefaria and extract a confession, clearing their names. However, the victory comes at a cost when the Wasp is gravely injured during the battle.
