Synopsis:
In this issue, the X-Men face a mysterious and immensely powerful being known only as the Stranger, who arrives on Earth to investigate humanity’s evolution and potential for destruction. Believing Magneto to be a threat to the cosmos, the Stranger abducts him, ending the immediate danger posed by the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. This marks the debut of the Stranger, who would go on to become a cosmic-level entity within the Marvel Universe. The X-Men are left stunned by his power and relieved at the temporary removal of their archenemy.
