Synopsis:
The Smasher is unleashed to stop Joe Robertson from exposing political candidate Richard Raleigh. Spider-Man intervenes and tracks the creature back to its lair, only to witness the Disruptor overloading the control device, which causes the Smasher to go berserk and kill its creator. In a final showdown, the Smasher also collapses and dies. Spider-Man unmasks the Disruptor, revealing Raleigh himself. Despite the truth, J. Jonah Jameson still plans an editorial blaming Spider-Man.
