Synopsis:
NINE LIVES HAS THE BLACK CAT! Spider-Man fails to stop the Black Cat from rescuing Walter Hardy from prison and is injured in the process. As the Black Cat escapes with her father, she later reveals herself as Felicia Hardy, a master thief trained to follow in his footsteps. When Spider-Man confronts her, their conflict turns both physical and emotional as they clash over her father's fate. Injured and unable to save her, Spider-Man watches as the Black Cat falls into the river below, seemingly to her death. Returning to the Hardy home, Spider-Man finds Walter Hardy has died, and soon after, Peter receives shocking news that Aunt May has apparently passed away.
