Synopsis:
In this pivotal chapter of the 'Dark Phoenix Saga,' Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Nightcrawler visit a New York City nightclub to investigate a new mutant detected by Cerebro. There, they encounter Alison Blaire, known as Dazzler, who possesses the ability to transform sound into light. Meanwhile, in Chicago, Emma Frost has captured Professor Xavier, Colossus, Wolverine, and Storm. During their captivity, Kitty Pryde sneaks into the Hellfire Club's facility and overhears a conversation between Emma Frost and Sebastian Shaw. As the plot unfolds, Jean Grey continues to experience unsettling visions and, under the influence of Jason Wyngarde (Mastermind), begins her transformation into the Black Queen of the Hellfire Club.
