Synopsis:
Kitty Pryde is pursued by Hellfire Club guards, but the X-Men arrive just in time to save her. She leads them to Emma Frost’s facility, where she phases through walls to free Wolverine and Colossus. As the X-Men battle the guards, Emma launches a psychic assault on Storm, only to be stopped by Phoenix. The two engage in a mental duel until Emma detonates the lab. Phoenix saves herself and Storm, while Emma seemingly dies in the explosion. Later, as Kitty’s parents confront the X-Men, Phoenix alters their memories—alarming Cyclops and Storm, who begin to question her growing power.
