Synopsis:

The Past and the Power or A Very Sticky Situation
While swinging across the city to meet Mary Jane at a diner, Spider-Man is ambushed by the Trapster, who covers him in quick-drying paste. Struggling to move, Spider-Man throws himself into the Southside Sea Port, where the cold water causes the paste to become brittle, allowing him to break free and surface. Later, Peter assists Dr. Max Lubisch at Empire State University with an experiment tapping into extra-dimensional energy. The device overloads, and Peter is bombarded with strange energy, granting him new powers. Testing these abilities, Spider-Man confronts the Trapster again, displaying enhanced strength and energy projection, leaving both himself and onlookers astonished by his newfound powers.
