Synopsis:
Following their cosmic adventure in the Shi'Ar galaxy, the X-Men return to Earth to recuperate. While some members, including Wolverine, Moira MacTaggert, Banshee, Colossus, and Storm, enjoy a lakeside picnic, they are ambushed by Weapon Alpha. Tasked by the Canadian government to retrieve Wolverine, Weapon Alpha's mission stems from Wolverine's past involvement with the clandestine Weapon X program. The confrontation escalates, leading to injuries among the X-Men, and culminates with Weapon Alpha retreating, setting the stage for future encounters between him and the X-Men.
