Synopsis:
The X-Men return to Earth after saving the universe and try to readjust to normal life. Jean reveals to her parents that she is Phoenix while Scott broods. Meanwhile, Wolverine, Moira, Sean, Peter, and Ororo take a picnic trip to a lake in upstate New York. There, Wolverine is attacked by Weapon Alpha, James MacDonald Hudson, who has been sent by Department H of the Canadian government to bring Wolverine back as their property. After a brief battle that injures Moira, Weapon Alpha retreats, realizing the power of the X-Men. Portions of this issue were later recapped in Alpha Flight #17.
