Synopsis:
THEY CALL THE DOCTOR... OCTOPUS! Spider-Man battles Dr. Octopus, but cramps force him to flee. Meanwhile, Dr. Octopus continues his war against a rising underworld figure—Hammerhead. Peter learns he has an ulcer and pursues a lead on Aunt May. After retrieving a cheap mask, Spider-Man faces Octopus again and narrowly wins with the help of a body harness. The issue ends as Spider-Man, still weakened, is confronted by Hammerhead and his goons.
