Synopsis:
After failing to rid himself of his cosmic powers, Spider-Man retires from crime fighting to live a normal life with Mary Jane. However, when Venom attacks, the power imbalance forces him to strike a deal—Venom will become the new Spider-Man. Despite stepping back, Peter is drawn into global crises, using his cosmic powers to intervene. As his emotions fade, he becomes increasingly detached from humanity.
Attempting to end famine in Africa, Peter demands Thor create rain. When Thor refuses, Peter punches him into space. Their clash ends abruptly when Dr. Doom shoots Thor and offers to remove Peter’s powers. Doom's plan fails—he was only a Doombot—and Peter eventually uses the device to rid himself of both his cosmic and Spider-Man powers. Reunited with Thor, Peter returns to Mary Jane. They have a daughter with mysterious all-white eyes, hinting at the cosmic legacy she may inherit.
