Synopsis:
Written and drawn by the masterminds behind the critically acclaimed "Batman: The Animated Series," Paul Dini and Bruce Timm, this Batman one-shot reveals the origins of Harley Quinn as she proves her love to the Joker by trying to eliminate the Dark Knight on her own! Harley Quinn and Joker try to ambush James Gordon at the dentist office but Batman gets the drop of them and even mocks Joker for being too predictable. They get away but Joker's pride is wounded and Harley can't even get a smile from him. She is eventually tossed out with the hyenas and she blames Batman. She feels Batman gets in the way of the two and if Batman was out of the picture she could have Joker to herself. In a series of flashbacks we see the origin of Harley when she went by Harleen Quinzel. She had a gymnast scholarship to Gotham University and ended up at Arkham Asylum where she meets and falls in love with the Joker. Harley hatches a plan to capture Batman, but when Joker arrives he is enraged and throws her aside, allowing Batman to escape.
