Synopsis:
Thanos peers into the Infinity Well as Mistress Death tasks him with bringing balance to the universe by destroying half of all life. Realizing the enormity of the task, Thanos seeks the Infinity Gems to gain ultimate power. He outwits the In-Betweener to take the Soul Gem, defeats the Champion of the Universe for the Power Gem, and outsmarts the Gardener for the Time Gem — beginning his path toward assembling the complete Infinity Gauntlet.
