The police appear and arrest Rick for murder. Lou-Ann, Rick's girlfriend, shows up as a witness but confirms that it was Rick who had shot the Professor. Various members of Mar-Vell's rogue's gallery defeat and capture him as Rick Jones and show their true identity: Super-Skrull and another Skrull scientist, Skragg. While Skragg tells his plans to his Supreme Master, Rick Jones manages to escape and calls Marvel to fight the Super-Skrull.
