Synopsis:
Following their departure from the Savage Land, the X-Men are caught in a terrible storm at sea near Cape Horn. They are rescued by a Japanese ship whose captain insists they must sail to Japan. Meanwhile, back at Xavier's Mansion, Jean, Lilandra, and Professor X believe the X-Men are dead. Xavier recounts his past battle with Amahl Farouk, a powerful mutant psychic whose confrontation inspired him to form the X-Men. He also recalls his first encounter with a young Ororo in Cairo. Meanwhile, Jean Grey is at Kennedy Airport speaking with Misty Knight, who departs for Tokyo to help Colleen Wing.
