Synopsis:
In 'Shalla Bal,' the Silver Surfer, having escaped his imprisonment on Earth, returns to Zenn-La and reunites with his beloved Shalla-Bal, who has become the Empress of their homeworld. Their reunion is interrupted when emissaries from the Skrull Empire approach Shalla-Bal, seeking an alliance. She declines, relying on the Silver Surfer's protection. The Skrulls, fearing the Kree might discover their weakened state, attempt to eliminate the Silver Surfer but fail. Despite their rekindled love, Shalla-Bal chooses her duty to Zenn-La over a personal relationship, leading the Silver Surfer to continue his journey through the cosmos alone.
