Synopsis:
In this issue, the X-Men are alerted by Professor X to a new threat: the Vanisher, a mutant capable of teleportation. The Vanisher announces his plan to steal national defense plans, prompting the X-Men to confront him. Despite their efforts, he escapes, leading to a climactic showdown where Professor X uses his telepathic powers to induce amnesia in the Vanisher, neutralizing the threat.
