Synopsis:
In "The Call of the Mountain Thing!", the Avengers travel to Wundagore Mountain in Transia, where they face a mystical storm. During their mission, they are attacked by Modred the Mystic, who captures them one by one. Scarlet Witch becomes possessed by the Elder God Chthon, aiming to return to the physical realm using her as a vessel. The Beast discovers ancient armor and a sky chariot, which he uses to disrupt Chthon's ritual. With the combined efforts of the Avengers and Quicksilver, they manage to free Wanda from Chthon's control, trapping the Elder God's essence once again. The battle concludes with the tragic death of Django Maximoff, Wanda and Pietro's adoptive father.
