Synopsis:
CAPTAIN AMERICA JOINS...THE AVENGERS! After escaping his battle with the Avengers, Namor continues his search for his people and stumbles upon a tribe of Inuit worshiping a man frozen in ice — Captain America. Thrown into the sea, the block begins to thaw and the Avengers recover him. Once revived, Cap is disoriented but proves his identity. He recounts Bucky’s death and his own fall into the ocean, then begins adjusting to the modern world. After battling an alien who had turned the Avengers to stone at Namor’s request, Cap helps free them and joins the team. Namor then leads an assault on the Avengers with his Atlantean guard. A battle ensues, ending when the D'bari spacecraft launches and Namor retreats. Captain America officially becomes an Avenger.
