Synopsis:
CAPTAIN AMERICA JOINS...THE AVENGERS! After escaping his battle with the Avengers, Namor angrily continues his search for his missing people. He discovers a tribe of Inuit people worshiping a dead man frozen in ice and throws the ice block into the water, where it begins to thaw. The Avengers, nearby in their undersea craft, retrieve the body and revive the man—revealed to be Captain America. After proving his identity and recalling his final moments in World War II, including Bucky’s death, Captain America joins forces with the Avengers. Together they battle Namor and his Atlantean forces while also aiding an alien D’bari in returning to his planet. By the end, the Avengers officially welcome Captain America into their ranks, marking his triumphant return to the modern age.
