Synopsis:
This issue begins with a recap of Captain America's return as originally depicted in Avengers #4, before continuing the story from Tales of Suspense #99. Baron Zemo orders Agent 13, posing as spy Irma Kruhl, to execute Captain America and Black Panther before activating a solar ray to destroy the United States. She deliberately misses her first shot, convincing Zemo to wait until after the ray is used. Taken to the control room, Agent 13 activates her hidden weapon, destroying the solar ray's controls and thwarting Zemo's plan.
