Synopsis:
In Uncanny X-Men #23 (June 1966), Count Nefaria traps the X-Men and frames them for a 100 million dollar ransom scheme in Washington D.C. utilizing solid illusions and a crystalline dome. As the team escapes, Professor X advises them to follow along while he works to understand the technology. A chaotic three-way battle ensues involving the X-Men, the military, and the treacherous villains (Plantman, Porcupine, Scarecrow, Eel, and Unicorn), with the X-Men working to clear their name.
