Synopsis:
CAPTIVES OF THE DEADLY DUO! The Human Torch returns to the Baxter Building after failing to locate Dr. Doom. As Reed, Sue, and Ben handle fan mail, Doom seeks out the Sub-Mariner, convincing him to join forces in a plan to destroy the Fantastic Four. While Namor agrees to help, he refuses to harm Sue Storm, whom he secretly loves. Doom’s invention—a powerful magnetic “grabber” device—lifts the Baxter Building into space. Betrayed, Namor turns against Doom, battling him aboard his ship and ultimately hurling Doom into space where he’s struck by a meteor. Namor saves the Baxter Building and returns to the ocean, leaving behind a shaken but grateful Fantastic Four.
