Synopsis:
The issue begins with Iron Man saving workers at the Uranus-12 Rocket construction site when there's an accident and the rocket starts falling. Unfortunately, he overworks his armor, which is already low on power from fighting the Demolisher, and his heart begins to fail him again. After making it to his office, he realizes that he can't disconnect his recharge cable because his heart is weaker than ever. He draws blueprints for revisions to his armor, and Happy Hogan begins construction on the new suit. However, in the final stage of construction, Happy overworks a Cobalt Bombarder, which explodes and transforms him into the Freak. The Freak kidnaps Pepper Potts, and Iron Man pursues him. After a confrontation atop a partially constructed building, Iron Man uses an Enervation Intensifier to return Happy to his normal state, and the Freak is subdued and carried off for treatment.
