Synopsis:
"The Answer!!!" — Nebula and her crew are confronted by Thanos, who has returned to reclaim leadership. He kills her guard Geatar and attacks Nebula herself. As Thanos begins rallying the crew, he is visited by Death, who questions his delay in committing universal genocide. Thanos assures her it will begin soon and targets the Silver Surfer. After luring him to the planet Pyraxion, Thanos confronts Surfer, who ultimately destroys Thanos’ teleportation chair, seemingly killing him. The charred body is taken back to Titan, but it is later revealed to be Geatar’s modified corpse. Thanos lives, and his plan moves forward — continued in *The Thanos Quest*.
