Synopsis:
THE BRAND OF THE BRAINWASHER! Spider-Man rushes to visit Aunt May in the hospital but is pursued by police. After escaping and visiting May, Peter explains his recent absence to authorities with a cover story involving Spider-Man and amnesia. Captain Stacy accepts the story, reuniting Peter with Gwen, who surprises him with a kiss. Later, they visit Gloom Room A-Go-Go, where Mary Jane is unknowingly helping a villain brainwash influential people with a special camera. Captain Stacy falls victim, and when Spider-Man investigates, he discovers the culprit behind the operation is none other than the Kingpin.
