Synopsis:
THE HOBGOBLIN REVEALED! This story follows the events of Spider-Man Versus Wolverine #1. Jason Macendale seeks to eliminate the Hobgoblin by hiring the Foreigner—who quickly fulfills the request. Meanwhile, Peter Parker returns from Berlin, where Ned Leeds was killed, only to discover that Leeds may have been the original Hobgoblin. As Spider-Man investigates, he learns that the Hobgoblin identity and gear were passed on to Macendale, formerly Jack O’Lantern. In a climactic battle, Spider-Man defeats Macendale with help from Flash Thompson, clearing Flash’s name and reaffirming Peter’s commitment to being Spider-Man.
