Synopsis:
The X-Men fly Alex Summers to the clinic of Dr. Karl Lykos for treatment following an encounter with the Sentinels. Unbeknownst to the team, Dr. Lykos requires human life energy to survive. When he drains the vast cosmic energy from Havok, the massive power overload triggers a monstrous transformation, turning him into a pteranodon-like creature who names himself Sauron. Back at the mansion, Angel spots a news broadcast about the flying terror, puts on his old Avenging Angel costume as a disguise, and flies off to confront the monster, only to fall victim to Sauron's hypnotic gaze.
